Is porn taboo?

In my family sex and porn are definitely considered to be taboos. I’m in my early twenties, still living with my parents and their attitude to my relationships is rather conventional. They can’t even accept the fact that I spend a night with a boy in the same room. After such an occasion I have to listen to the lecture about being immoral and they think it will lead to an irreversibly negative judgement about me taken by other people. My mum can’t bear my dressing style either and keeps telling me that only whores wear miniskirts and shoulderless tops. The other day she unexpectedly entered my room while I was watching a porn video. First she couldn’t even understand what the xvideo was actually about although it looked quite obvious. She had never seen anything like that before and I may say she was extremely upset to watch a sexual intercourse on the screen. I won’t tell you anything more about her reactions, but it’s clear that many people just like my parents consider porn a capital sin. They avoid talking about sex and can’t imagine watching porn videos, which they consider immoral and something that originates from the devil itself. Needless to say, I disagree, and if you are not addicted, it is important to talk about sex, moreover, watching porn videos may improve the quality of your relationship. So there are things that I know much better than my parents!
